Giobikes.com

Hey Guys,

Has anyone dealt with these guys (giobikes.com)? I like the idea of a water cooled china bike, so far I've only found 1 dealer in Canada. The prices seem very high. Is this a dealer or direct from the manufacturer? My brother is very interested in getting a china bike after assembling and riding my Saga GY 250, but he doesn't like the OHV air cooled aspect of it. Does anyone know if they're any other dealers in Canada that offer a water cooled bike?

Cheers

Quite frankly, not many of us are prepared to embrace a water cooled China bike yet. The 200-250 bikes don't generate enough heat to require liquid cooling, as evidenced by all of the terrific Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki air cooled bikes of that displacement.

I'd only pay that if it was made in Japan, or Austria.

Yes I agree, confused at the market for this one. They must be marking them up 150% or something?? Or is china actually putting money into making these things? If they are its a risky move.

We have been trying to figure that one out also. Our opinion is it's a combination of greed and poor business sense.

Yes, I think the vendors are greedy. They want to make more money on a Chinese bike than they would on a Japanese bike. In addition, they usually don't provide any support, and won't honor any "warranty" which is supposedly included with the motorcycle.

Spud :(
