I decided to sell my GS750 if anyone is interested...

My buddy, who I bought the bike for, has not visited in two years and I don't think his health will allow him to ride anymore. It's been sitting in my garage and hanger and I'd like for someone to use and enjoy it.

Its a good bike but I don't use it and it sits. I took it home tonight and will ride it until it sells to enjoy it.

I'm sorry to hear of your friend's health problems, Doc. :( I wish you good luck with a fast sale.

Sorry to hear about Jim's health. I hope you get what you want for the bike.

I think the bike will sell. It's a good price but a niche market. I may have to advertise it in Seattle like I did the BSA. I also posted it on the GS forum and PNWR.

As for Jim, he has to make a decision to take better care of himself or not. He's been lucky to get along as well as he has for as long as he has but he's becoming progressively handicapped.

The price is more than fair. It should sell easily.

Hey! I think that's the same guy that's writes the manuals for the Chinese ATV's!

Wonder how the pay pal scam works? I've heard lots of mention of it, but I'm not sure how the con men bilk you?

I finally have a serious buyer, after a serious price drop...

As before he's coming from the other side of the state, Tacoma in this case. If I get my current asking price it will still be more that $1,000 what I paid for it, although I've put $900 and many hours of work into it over the years. Most of that money was spent on the paint and luggage. The rest on the seat, windshield, tires, bearings, and fork brace.

On the seat and windshieldI recouped about 1/2 the investment by eBaying off the old but serviceable parts.

Oh well.

On the other hand It's provided my friend and I with 10's of thousands of miles of trouble free riding so I count myself as ahead.

I would like to see this bike go to a collector/rider so it will be used and appreciated, and be out of my way in the hanger.

Good point.

There is one on CL that is complete and comes with a new uninstalled Lifan(oid?) 125 cc motor. $850, IIRC.
