Welcome! We are glad you joined us.

I'm unfamiliar with your bike. If you post a photograph someone might recognize it. Where are you located? Some states make it very difficult, if not impossible, to license a dirt bike for street usage. :(

If the law allows, you can install a dual sport kit from a variety of manufacturers. Perhaps the Tusk kit will work well for you.

Baja Designs also sells dual sport, conversion kits.

The owners manual says not to use it on the street is this just to cover there butts and a common thing to see on bike titled as orv or is this something I should listen too?

I am from PA and from what I last heard is that it is becoming quit difficult to title china bikes for the street here. I am assuming you saw this bike @ Pep Boys? Seen one there for 999.99. They are made by Apolo which seems from what I've heard to be a reputable brand.

I recommend you check directly with the PA DMV. They will tell you exactly what you need to do, and they are the officials who will inspect, and either approve, or disapprove of your dual sport conversion. You will save a lot of time and money if you check with them first, not later.

The manual is making the legal disclaimer your bike is not designed for street riding. If you make the legal modifications necessary to satisfy the PA DMV, you can safely ride your dirt bike on the street.

Ya go with Spuds advice & contact Penndot since you have a title & just want to register it for the street may be easier than I think. PA really cracked down more or less on internet sales I would say because people were just getting bikes without all proper paperwork like bill of sale, n other stuff.

Yeah I bought this from my work and it cam with a title it says orv. My friend who did this before just took it to penndot filled out the paperwork paid the fees then they gave him a list of approved shops for inspection. If they pass it to take the paperwork back to penndot and they send you a new title and regisration then get it re inspected. But ill double check with them first.

From what I heard its hard to get a bike change from off road to on road in PA.
I live in northeast PA and luckily I got mine already titled and registered in the state and just got it inspected.

Some people have complained that the state would not accept allot of the bike to get registered, but good luck.

Yes, sad but true guys...I fear PA might be like Jersey, I think if your bike is not on the approved list, it can be near impossible to title...sad really, perhaps government trying to protect us from ourselves???

I'm also from PA. From what I've researched and heard, if the title says "off road use only" then they will not register it for the street. I had to go through some process for my XF200, which was already street legal because of the VIN. They had to send the notarized title, MCO, bill of sale, and more to Harrisburg for processing. It took over two weeks to come back, but it was all approved and I got registered.

I always wanted to convert a dirt bike to the street, and I don't think it is possible depending on what the title says. Some have 'sold' the bike to relatives in other states, gotten a new title without the 'off road' words, then transferred the title to PA but they are cracking down on this practice also.
