110cc Rebuild question

I am replacing the whole top end on my kids 110cc atv but the new piston has the word IN stamped on the top im assuming this means intake?? but does it really make a difference? and does it go up or down??

Yes, probably means that goes under the intake valve.

It does matter.

I would say start looking for bolts that they would fit on, then narrow it down by finding something that takes 2 bolts to hold it down. I forget when i rebuilt the top end of one of my 250's if there was anything like that or not.
Just looked through the pictures and did not see anything like it either so I would go by my first advice and let us know how it goes.

yeah they dont go to any of the bolts they are too small for that i was thinking they might be some sort of rubber gasket that goes in between the head and the cylinder and the other one between the cylinder and the block but i dont know...its so stupid that these parts dont come with any kind of directions

Are they valve seals? Throw up a pic of them and it might narrow it down a bit

Yup, they're valve seals. Are you redoing the head on the 110 as well or just replacing the piston and rings?

Nope, if the head is already assembled it will have new seals in it already. You can keep these for spares (and probably lose them like I would...)

If it's something like this one on ebay the seals should already be in the replacement head http://www.ebay.com/itm/Completed-Cy...#ht_500wt_1156
