another pic that perhaps shows the width and flatness the tall seat provides

With my 30" inseam, only the balls of my feet touch the ground.

Needed something lower, so I ordered the narrow, carbon black seat.

With the new narrow seat, only the balls of my feet touch the ground ...still...

....no change at all in reaching the ground,

The only good part is the new seat looks a lot better than the stock seat.

I found the narrow seat to be more comfortable than the stock seat. Let us know if it feels like an improvement after a few miles.

Grin Breaks in very nicely

I have probably close to 2K sMiles on my CSC Tall saddle and can say that this saddle gets much better over time. This saddle is very comfortable, and has broken in, and fit's my back side perfectly. One of the better custom saddles that I have owned and well worth the price IMHO.

I aslo have a 30" inseam.

I see now clearly what Seat Concepts is doing.
Their narrow saddle replicates the tongue extension of the stock seat to fill that gap in the tank.
The tall seat has it eliminated so they could raise the nose higher and keep it flat and wide all the way to the rear.
So the area on the narrow saddle that starts steeply sloping upwards basically occupies real estate left flat on the tall version. Can't have it both ways.
Tonight's four hour ride in the pitch black of southern Ohio will be my first real ride on mine. The ride to work this morning only had me sitting there in amazement at the difference from stock. Now I forget about it and concentrate on deer (and the meteor shower)

This is what has developed on my narrow seat....a wrinkle that will not smooth out.

I contacted Ryan at CSC, and he said this has happened on a few other seats, and that he will investigate the problem.

This has not occurred on my previous seats: Corbin, Sargent, Mayer, the Seat Concepts on my DR, or even the stock RX3 seat.

Really don't want to pay someone else to re-cover it.

Keith, hope your butt doesn't wrinkle...

...like mine.

About that 20% coupon...I was going to order the 19" wheel but.......lowest shipping charge was $67.

May do it anyway...need some time to get my head right about the shipping...

Guess I'm spoiled by the Amazon Prime free 2-day shipping...

Good news on the wrinkled seat!

CSC will pay the shipping to have the seat returned, and Seat Concepts will re-cover it.

CSC for going the extra mile!
