Do you know if theres any after market exhaust that will fit our bike to increase some power?

You and I are about the only ones here right now that have this bike and I just got mine as well. It is a work in progress.

Thanks for reminding me to check the valves. They were so tight I couldn't tell the exhaust stroke from the Compression stroke. I had to look at the valve cycling, also there is no T on the flywheel that can be seen from the sight port just a timing mark. got it done.

Thanks for the tip. NY you need to check yours.

The jet needle, needle jet and pilot mixture screw will be suitable for you with the 30mm Mikuni. The #20 slow jet and the #100 main jet will likely require replacement. I would just swap to at least a #25 (I'm using a #30) slow jet, and a 110 main jet before installing the carb.

You're welcome.

I've never seen a Honda clone without the T mark!

It's not that hard. There are many tutorials that will show you better than mine.

I am currently messing with a new carb and intake on my own project. I was just curious if anyone knows. What is the purpose of the plastic spacer that goes between the carb and intake pipe? I believe it is called an isolation gasket or something like that. Why doesn't the carb bolt to the intake pipe with a paper gasket just like the intake pipe bolts to the head with a paper gasket?

It's an insulator, and I think it's designed to prevent vapour lock, but I'm not sure.

I tried to remove mine on my quad, but the intake no longer lined up with the carb.

So i think ill deff need a valve adjustment.
I takes about 10 to 13 kick start cold to get my bike going. Its a new bike how does it come from the factory not adjusted ??
If i can't do it what does it usually to get them done? don't want to get ripped off

All of the boots also have an O-ring to help prevent dirt from entering the cylinder.

These aren't boots like Yamahas and clones. The Honda clones use a stud mount for the carb and the intake tube. There is a plastic insulator between the carb and intake tube.

Here is a crappy picture off Ebay. The plastic insulator as they call it is maybe 1/4" thick. It goes between the intake pipe and the carb and it has a rubber o ring embedded on each side to seal the connection. It must have a special purpose but I can't figure it out.
