Magician Saddle Bags/ Containers

Does anyone know of a saddle bag or container I can mount to the Magician for $50 or less?

Are there some that people are using for the Hawk that may work for the Magician?

Thanks

I recently installed one of these on my Hawk. I lucked out and picked one up for $22.20 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-3...53.m1438.l2649

Look for bicycle panniers on amazon. You can find waterproof ones on amazon for under $50. You might have to get creative to mount them. Nothing PVC can't take care of though.

$16 .50 caliber Ammo Cans from HF make good water tight panniers. https://www.harborfreight.com/50-cal...can-63181.html I think Timcosby has a post on here on how he mounted them.

I'm using 2 ammo cans and 2 lap top bags as the hard and soft panniers for my bike. You can find ammo cans at pawn shops or outdoor army surplus stores for 1/2 of the online price. I paid 12 for the 2 laptop bags in new condition at a thrift store. The nicer laptop bags are cool because they are well made and have a re-enforced flap inside you just push down and the bottom goes flat and sturdy. I have carried 2 2 liters of soda in each bag easily. The ammo boxes you can lock with a little steel chain and padlock, I use them for my utility needs. I also picked up an army canteen bag, insulated with a big closer flap, will velcro or zip tie to anything and fits well as a quick and easy tank/fender bag. Goes really well zip tied up above the rear tire where no one can see it

My goal is to not have to weld a bracket to hold the bags. They sell "universal" saddlebags online, but I don't see anyway to support them, in other words they would just hang and flop around.. Never good on a motorcycle.

I guess if I want bags/ container on the bike I'll have to create some kind of bracket?

I am a big fan of Goodwill so I'll keep an eye out for some goodies there...

Chip, have you posted pics of your setup? I'd love to see it.

You could always go to Lows and buy some pvc pipe. Just secure it down with some bolts or straps.

My boxes are bolt on, parts from plumbing supply store. I have moved them 3 times now. Probably will a 4th time as well ha!

For the laptop bags I tied the handles together in a knot and laid them across the bike with the seat off. Once I had my bags hanging even I added a zip tie to each handle/strap then put the seat back on.
