HellCat Aftermarket Intake & Carb Location

This is for the hellcat owners with the aftermarket intake and carb. Which direction are you pointing the carb? Out the front or off to one of the sides?

Thanks!

Enjoy the Ride!

Use this and leave all your options open, i use one to have mine as a " to the side " orientation as i was not a huge fan of the pointed straight ahead towards front fender due to water spray off front tire on pod filter, here in "sunny" florida you can pretty much count on getting caught in a sudden deluge 3 of 5 days in the summer months.

It even comes in the cool dude anodized color of your choice haha.

Also worth considering... when figuring out carb orientation... is which side is the choke/enricher lever on? With the VM22... if you face the carb forward with pod filter forward, the enricher lever will be on the right-side of the carb and harder to reach. If the carb faces in the stock orientation, the enricher lever is easily reached on the left side... which I prefer.

Cheers!

Ripcuda- another good point!

I think I’m going to mount the carb off the left side of the bike and as far back as possible.

Thanks!

Enjoy the Ride!
