Make sure you are adjusting idle at throttle adjuster on thebars first before you mess with the idle screw on the carb also how many turns out is your a/few screw? 99% of the time a vacuum leaks is the cause of high idle. I can't get u current pics due to bike is out in the shed and there's a foot of snow and it's -10 out side. Take your side plastic off and look for vacuum leaks. Check a/f might be running lean. I believe if u have it turned out 3 turns or more u need to go up 1 jet size. Should be out 1.5 to 2 turns but correct me if I'm wrong

Do a search for "high idle" on this forum, there are several threads about it and what people did to fix them. Sry I can't get you pics right now. Maybe I can get out there later today. Got to hit the sack for awhile. Be back later.

Got it idleing at 1 .5k, plugged the hole leading to the head with a bolt and some hose , and the crankcase vent left open. Only thing I notice is when I give it more revs sometimes it hangs up for a sec then goes back down, other than that all seems a ok gonna take her for a ride in a sec

Idle mixture is on the lean side. Richen it up a little and you should be good.

Took her out got it to 50mph at around 8k rpms or so and was running fine. After she warmed up well after a few mins seems like it cuts off on the upper rpms? I'm guessing too rich? Running the 110 main

Allow 300 miles or so for break in, rings to seat before you push to hard.

Nice and unmolested, give it time then your wallet will start getting thinner for goodies for your bike. My bike only has a little over 300 miles and I'm already about to swap in the zs190cc, not for the higher speeds but mostly for the 5 gears and a little more go. Oh well. It's only money right.

Glad to see you got everything up and running.

If you don't have one already, I'd recommend getting a clocking flange on ebay ($6). That way you can rotate the carb around so that the filter doesn't rub on the front fender on big dips and tuck the filter away towards the rear a bit.
