So, would you have to remove all the compenents from one bike to the other frame? ..or could you just pull a little frame sticker swap, say you did it, and call it good?

Nothing to report yet, other than I finally got hold of my sister and she's in the dark on how the dealer managed to get her a title for the bike.

So for now, I'll file the dealer complaint after I get back home from this business trip.

I gotta admit that I am past caring at this point.

(625 ILCS 5/) Illinois Vehicle Code.3.

section (a) It is a violation of this Chapter for:

Subsection 4. A person to display or affix to a vehicle any certificate of title, manufacturers statement of origin, salvage certificate, junking certificate, display certificate, temporary registration permit, registration card, license plate or registration sticker not authorized by law for use on such vehicle;

Sentence for violation of subsection 4 or 5 of paragraph (a) of this Section (a) is guilty of a Class A misdemeanor and upon a second or subsequent conviction of such a violation is guilty of a Class 4 felony.

Misdemeanor Class A:
Up to $2500 Fine &/or Up to 1 Year in Jail.
730 ILCS 5/5-9-1 & 5/5-8-3
