Zongshen America SLOOOOOOOOW???

Been trying to order a few Zong Sierra parts with them all week.

Tried emailing, no response.

Called and talked to a guy in parts named manny, he gave me his email, and said email the parts list, and he would get back to me. That was two days ago, havent heard a thing since.

Left messages yesterday and today.

Has anyone ordered successfully from them recently?

I have a zong that needs the following parts.

Rear Brake Lamp Assembly (86200-I178-C000)
Rear Fender (63202-L266-C000)
Liscence Plate Bracket (62306-I111-C000)
Gear Shift Footpeg (24400-l266-0000)

I ordered about a year ago and had no issue ordering from them before. Wonder whats going on? :?

Dave
Ordering parts from Zongshen America sometimes requires a bit of patience. I believe Zongshen America is currently undergoing some restructuring, and this restructuring might also account for some of the delay. In addition, Zongshen America prefers to work through dealers, rather than individual customers; therefore, I believe Zongshen dealers receive preferential treatment over individual customers.

As some of you know, the late, beloved, Phil Hall was a Zongshen dealer who handled a lot of Zongshen parts orders for the members of these forums. Since Phil has gone home, to heaven, I am considering becoming a Zongshen parts dealer to represent the members of these forums. I don’t wish to hijack your thread. Therefore, I will be discussing my possible decision to become a Zongshen parts dealer at the thread linked below.

I do have a used rear brake light assembly, and license plate bracket for sale. If you are interested in these used parts, please send me a personal message.

Well, if I became I Zongshen parts dealer, I would end up making the telephone calls to Miami. 8O However, I believe a Zongshen dealer gets preferential treatment to individual customers.

Spud I think you should be hired by Zong in some capacity. I'd like to see you involved with R&D, product development, or market research.

TheRealWorld,

Not to sound cold or unhearted, but i believe the details are on the home page of the site. (the Obit and some other info). Just hit the home link at the top.

Back to zongshen being slow... talked to manny at zongshen the the day before yesterday, he said he would email me back with a price quote yesterday. Never did. Sounded like he was busy unloading a crate in the warehouse at the time i talked to him. I think maybe the zongshen warehouse is a one man operation?

Oh well, i gave up.. special thanks goes to Spud for hooking me up with some well needed parts.

Dave

Brother Phil Hall contracted a rare form of cancer. After undergoing surgery to remove the tumor, Phil unexpectedly died of heart failure. :( You can read the thread, posted by Phil, at the following link.

We miss Phil very much; he was kind, decent man. I am consoled by the fact Phil accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior before he died; therefore, Phil went home to be with his Lord.
