Hello and Manual needed

Hi I just bought a 2007 lf200gy-6 and was wondering if anybody knows where I can get a shop manual for it.

Welcome. Shop manuals don't really exist yet. This site is as close as you will come.

Welcome!

Just peruse the related forum and / or ask questions. You'll find all the info you need.

Cheers!

Welcome; we are glad you joined us! Forum member and site moderator, Jim, used to own a GY-6; I am sure he can offer you some good advice. I have moved your thread over to the Dual Sport Forum so you can get more exposure, and more advice, for your question.

Thanks for the info guys. I have no real issues yet just wanted to be prepared. I have noticed there is not really enough power to pull the front tire up. Otherwise it is a great working little bike.

Pictures? (we like pictures here)...

I really liked my bike while I had it, the only real complaint I would have had with it was the seat was quite hard.. Does yours have the counterbalanced engine?

Yes I was told it had the counterbalanced engine when I bought it. I really like it as well. I think that is the difference between the gy-6 and the gy-5? I will take some pics soon and I think I have to setup a website to post the link as I do not see a spot to upload pics from my PC.

My Tach is not hooked up on the bike. Is this because it does not have a connection for it? I have not looked at it closely yet. The Spedo seems to be off by a bit as well.

I'm sure someone will chime in about the tach.
It is common for the speedo's to be off by about 10%.

The tach worked fine on mine... You may need to check the connections?
They gy6 is quite different from the gy5, some gy5's also have the counter balanced engine. The frame and body panels on the gy6 is completely different, as is the seat.
