Time and practice!

Make sure it's in neutral when you start. Hold in the clutch with your left hand, and put bike in first gear by pushing down with your left heel. Once in gear, slowly let out clutch while slowly giving the bike throttle with the right hand. You might stall the bike until you get the hang of it, but with enough practice you will get it rolling. Once rolling you can then shift up another gear by pulling in the clutch with left hand and letting off the throttle at the same time, then go to your next gear by pressing down with your left heel. Let the clutch out and apply the gas again. Don't come to a stop while changing gears or you will have to start over again. Down shifting is the opposite, make sure the bike does not rev too high or engine damage can result.

It sounds a bit complicated but after you do it for a little while you wont even have to think about it to much.

Yes, always better to stall (less gas) than the opposite effect it has with too much gas!!

Aim for open spaces don't try with something in front of yoU!!

Good luck!
