I'm looking for a good MX bike

Any suggestions of what I can buy for a good MX bike? The new MIKILON 250 L/C looks good but the only one thats sells it here in Canada is a company called X-Rage. I left him several emails but no response. Anybody else in Canada sells these bike? They look like a YZ250F

Tks,

Brad

Hey, stay away from x-rage if possible, they seem like they dont want anyones business and are very rude, ive heard this from other people as well. If you find any dealers, please let me know, ive been trying to find one for a long time know, if i could find the 450 i be all over it.

i don't know about canada, but in ohio (u.s.) used japanese mx bikes are common and have better suspension than a new chinese mxer...just a thought that if you'retalking about real mx riding, the chinese bikes just don't have the suspension for it (yet)

I agree, If you are learning a China bike is right. If You plan on bashing them and jumping them all the time go used Jap. These are not MX standard bikes. Don't get me wrong they are fun but not the same as far at that goes.

Thanks folks...

I guess I need to clarify..."MX Style" 250cc bike for trail riding. My days and body are long gone for Motocross.

Chinese bikes do well on the trails as long the tires are not leaving the ground.

Not sure what to recommend for a bike though.

Does your Pitster Pro importer carry the XTR 250 series like they offer in the US? 25 hp, liquid-cooled, decent price, in MX, enduro and motard styles, but I don't think it's offered in Canada.

Like I said in earlier posts..I like the looks of the MIKILON 250cc but I can't seem to find a dealer in Canada that sells these. Is there an Orion Dealer in Canada ? and have parts if need be? any feed back from this brand..suggestions?

PRindustriesltd.com has a clone of the CRF 250 that has a Zongshen motor and a KTM clone with a 250cc Zongshen motor as well. Anyone hear anything good/bad about these bikes?

Thanks,

Saga, is the PRindustires bike the one like the KTM the 'XTM'? I think they were supposed to be decent bikes for the money--as long as, like you said, you aren't going all out MX'ing with it.
