What are your planned projects for you ride next year?

I am planning a new set of road friendly tires, a head light upgrade, a new left side mirror, and lots of riding.

Don't get me started  Big project, not on topic, not Dual Sport / Enduro.

Finished replacing the tires with Kenda 760's for better durability and the ability to really play in the dirt. (DOT, too)

Have the "new" rear shock in place for full suspension travel and better handling on and off road.

Replaced front blinkers with new ones that have halogen bulbs. Have same for the rears that need to be put on.

Already upgraded the headlight bulb(the low beam died) with a 45./40 tungsten bulb. With a spare for emergencies.

Have a 16-tooth front to replace the 17. (More dirt friendly and to handle the larger diameter of the new rubber.)

Need to replace front fork oil with ATF.

Just clicked over 3,000 miles.
Will need new sprockets and chain in the very near future. I will be trying a 17/42 in 428 size. 90% road riding.

Already made a headlight mod to a 45/45w H4 halogen running off the battery. (see the "very dim headlight" thread).
Just noticed that the headlight adjuster had cracked. Temporary fix in place. May go with a BajaDesigns headlight shell and try a 55w H4 bulb.

Will need a taillight/tag bracket soon also (bracket is cracked at the frame mount and I don't feel like welding).
Gonna go with MOTOLED Edge-2 DRZ400 Tail Light Holder another member has on theirs.

Along with the headlight, I had planned to replace the stator. Kinda outta the mood, since everything is working well at present.

Very satisfied at present. Ride it til the wheels fall off
Bill

Forgot to mention carbon fibreizing all the plastics. (nothing is broke yet) Did already replace the dangerously cheezy plastic throttle. This Chinese plastic is brittle to say the least.

Will do the carb mods and add a cone filter. Exhaust is done with nice Honda-like note and much less restriction.
