Newbie here

Hello all.Well after lurking for a month or so I`ve decided to bite the bullet and join up.You have a great community here and lots of good tech/advice which is what I`ll be needing soon as I`ll be buying my first china bike in the next few weeks.A little about me?Started riding at age 5 on a beat up `71 Honda 50 mini trail, onto an old SL 70,then a CR 125,XL 200,and then finally a Yamaha 650 Special that met an unfortunate end under the wheels of a Jeep CJ(hence my nick name lol).So it`s been like 10 years since I rode anything with two wheels, but I`m all healed up and I think it`s time to get back in the saddle again!Looking forward to meeting everyone soon.

Ouch!I guess I can`t top that one. 8O Hope you`re feeling better now.It took me about 2 months before I could move at all but that was mostly from cracked ribs thanks to the Jeeps transfer case.Getting run over sucks man. :(

My dad ran a red light and got T-Boned with me in the passenger seat of his truck, broke 3 ribs and bruised my lung. 14 days in the ICU. Not fun.

Oww...maybe it`s time someone formed a support group.Seriously.My dad got cleaned off his Harley.Took a partridge right in the guts at 80 clicks! He still has vivid dreams about it twenty years later. My cousin Brent had an old Yammy with 5 spoke wheels and one night a cat jumped between the spokes ad stopped him dead. Not quite literally but close. My other cousin Kevin(R.I.P.) drove a Honda tourer of a cliff in B.C. and fell 300m.Remind me again why we do this?(just kidding,I wouldn`t trade that sense of freedom for anything )
