Grom clone won’t wheelie!

I’ve got a brand new Boom Vader / bd 125, and i just can’t get the thing to wheelie.
It runs great. Carb is tuned fine, clutch is fine (maybe a little spongy).
It just acts like it doesn’t have enough power to wheelie, after dumping the clutch at almost redline, in 1st or 2nd.

Any recommendations?

Seems even the genuine article, the Grom, can't do it without significant mods...
