DongFang DF250RTG Headlight

Hi everyone,

I am new to riding and only have minimal mechanical knowledge. I am looking to replace the headlight on my DF250RTG with an LED as the stock bulb isn’t quite bright enough for riding when it’s dark out. Would anyone know what those types of bulbs are called? Better yet if anyone has a link to one I can know for sure I am getting the correct one.

I don't know, but I do know that if you replace the Chinese-made bulb with a USA-made version of the same bulb, you will be amazed by the difference. The bulbs on these bikes are beyond lousy.

I agree about the original bulbs. Mine didn’t last long and when I installed the new headlight it was much brighter. I got the replacement bulbs on Amazon cheap, and so far they work great.

Where did you find the replacement headlight on Amazon?

I took the old bulb, went to O'Riley's two blocks away, and the nice lady at the counter looked at it, went in the back, and came back with the correct one...
