Super noob with tao dbx1

Never even been on a gas bike before. Parting it out to make it electric. If anyone wants to convert to electric I can help


Don’t know what’s compatible but want to lighten the wheels and fork if possible. Will just put slicks on it and be on road only.

Got road clip-on bars and a slightly shorter rear shock and plan to drop frame lower.
Not sure what forks are compatible.

In about T-minus 10 days, I'm gonna pull the trigger on the X-Pro Hawk. Originally, I was looking at converting my bicycle (Giant Simple Single) to electric with one of those front wheel drive kits. Still might, but when I saw these Chinese dual sport bikes, that plan got shelved quick.


One of the best things about these bikes is the range. There's no way I would electrify one due to the bikes' weight, which will only give you less range. To each his own.
