New KPX250 seat height (lowering link)

Hello all,

I just ordered a KPX250 from Belmonte and was wondering if there were other shorter riders that were able to lower the ride height of 35.5"

Is there a lowering link that can be purchased?

There aren't very many of these bikes out there yet so I doubt that the big parts suppliers are interested in building links. That said, I'm thinking of ordering one of these bikes and I'm a retired machinist. If someone out there who has a KPX250 were to measure their bike and make a drawing I might be persuaded to make some.

I am getting mine assembled now, and damn is it tall. It’s taller than my 250L was. I will definitely be doing some kind of lowering link. Cannot be that difficult.
I also plan to do some kind of supermoto conversion in the very near future. The weather needs to turn befor I can do to much.

Don't supermoto conversions drop to 17" wheels (16.5" front even) from 21" front and 18" rear (19" ?). This will drop the seat height a couple of inches for you.
Maybe pinch the front forks with another 3/4" drop to help drop it a little more.
Also, tire choice might also allow more drop (lower profile tires).

Al together, you could easily see more than 3" seat height drop!

Definitely there will arise a market for a lowering kit no doubt

The majority feeling out there is that this is a solid bike, someone will take advantage of thi$ I am hoping

Bike is stuck in transit due to the train derailments, but that is a separate conversation
