Sick of Winter

Ok, So we actually had a winter this year ( Mid-Missouri) but I'm done now. We needed the moisture but I'm ready for spring and to break out the ol' Roketa!

I know I'm from Mississippi, and this may sound stupid, but "cant ya just ride it in the snow?" That sounds like it would be freakin awesome. Again, I dont knoow a whole lot about snow. Probably havent seen it more than 10 times in my life. That's probably 10 DIFFERENT years out of my 26 year old life.

Well we got just under four FEET of snow in the last 48 hours here in Northern Vermont. And, NO, dirtbikes are tretcherous in snow. You wont get 20 feet and wreck. No joke. You'd think they would go OK, but they wont even move unless you stud the tires.

Wow Red, I feel your pain but I feel like a weenie after your report. We have had a worse winter than normal here in Colorado but you win. Four feet in 48 hours, that is amazing.

Yes, very heard to ride without studded tires. Also too cold since I don't have winter riding gear. In true Missouri form it's -2 this morning and will be in the 50's this time next week. At least I can get started on gettting her out of the shed, cleaned up and running.

I guess we're spoiled a bit here in the south. Lows this winter haven't gone below mid 20's and highs usually in the 40s-50s. Still rideable for me since my ride to work is only 20-25min.

Dude, to be honest, I'd have a fit if I couldn't ride. It's one of those fixes I guess. I loathe my car, but I'm blessed to have it, especially when it rains. I drive it only when I absolutely have to.

We were lucky. Parts of Western New York got 7 - 11 FEET. Yeah, you read that right. They called out the national Guard to help get everyone dug out. Crazy weather up here, but eventually it WILL get warm .
