Lifan X-pect seat

Has anyone had any luck finding an aftermarket seat for it, or modifying it?

In the 25 miles I've ridden this bike so far, sweet lord does that seat suck. I understand the feeling of being too far forward is just a natural part of this style of bike, but is it also normal to feel like I've just been kicked in the taint? Maybe it's an old guy thing but none of the bikes I used to ride as a youngster did this to me. I got off it after a 5 mile ride and I had pins and needles in places that, well, let's just say places that I'd really rather I didn't.

I'd like to just get a better seat, but maybe there's a pad people have used? Or am I just gonna have to waddle into an upholstery shop?

I know how you feel! I posted the same thing over a year ago and never had any answer to help with the X-Pect seat. After the last 1500 miles my rear end seems to have adapted to the seat although I rarely ride for more than 45 minutes at a time and a day in the seat could be agony. If you can find the answer, please post it so others may benefit.

I've wondered about the seat, as well.

Since lots of parts on this bike are clones of Honda bikes like the CRF230, I wonder if a seat for some type of Honda model would fit? I'm not sure how you'd be able to check that.

I hated it at first too, but it was my fault. I was sitting further back like you would on a street bike. Once I followed Boatguy's advice and moved forward, problem solved.
