Ah, that's a drag. I like my Ninja 300 for that, it has a 4.5 gallon tank which even hauling my fat arse around is about 180-200 miles range.

I have a dr650 tank I have slowly been trying to fit, but it's been slow going... need to clean the snow off the bike and wheel it in the basement to work on it some this winter... that will push me to a 3.5 gallon tank... little better than the stock 1.1 gallon... and I hear yards on the fat arsenal part.. I am 6'2" and about 280#... I may look a bit funny riding a sumo based on a 200cc China bike...LOL oh you may r cognise those rims, as they are from an 86 ex250/ninja....hehehe

Hey Sully! I just joined this group; I'm a bit north of you, up toward Erie. And I just acquired two China bikes, which I plan to roll out very soon, with this mild winter we're having. Nothing dual sport, but that's in the works, possibly happening by summer. I know of some fantastic rides up this way, if you want to come north.
