Anybody tried a Radiant Cycles Shorty GP muffler on the Venom Ghost/X22R?

Interested in how it sounds and if it would be a good replacement for the big ass stock muffler on my Ghost. I'm thinking since its basically straight pipe it would need a baffle if I remove the cat from the pipe but I'm generally concerned it would be too little back pressure.

Would the baffle help with backpressure? or would removing the cat/muffler increase overall HP assuming the carb is tuned properly? I saw some people recommending a "free flowing exhaust" would be good for these 250cc bikes
