I think it should be noted that the TT250 isn't just marked up for the sake of it. There are a few upgrades that offer the value for that price increase. The upgraded wiring and electrical components being one. The high output stator and charging system. The rear wheel hub and spoke design is different and stronger than that of a Hawk or TBR7. The suspension front and rear has preload as well as damper adjustability. Even the plastics quality itself is actually a bit better. You are getting what you pay for beyond the warranty and support. That is just the other part of the package.

I agree with megadan. Any time I have needed a "Better" part for my bike... it has come from a TT250. Seat, Rear wheel, etc. It's like they read this forum and fixed most of the problems from the original generation of posts.
CSC is the main manufacturer supporting high quality aftermarket parts. I've already bought enough stuff from CSC stuff to add on my hawk, that I could have just bought the TT250 :( |

Walmart's business model is not to give motorcycles away, which is probably why they quit *selling* them. Freebies are not freebies. Somebody is paying for your free ride. Sure it's running great, can't be too picky. |
