My new Hawk 250
Hello all, I joined the forum a few days ago while waiting on my new Hawk to come in. Well it arrived and I managed to take it for a small break in spin after a successful assembly that went off without a hitch. Can't really resist the urge to put up a pic.
My only complaint is a common one, the stock fork oil it comes with as absolute garbage. I weigh 165 and so much as the tiniest misbehavior on the brakes sent me lurching forward. Definitely working on that tomorrow.

Welcome to the forum. Nice bike! Make sure you change all the fluids as soon as possible, and not just the fork oil. I think they use the same fish-glue-whatever-they-had-close-to-hand-fluid everywhere on these bikes from the factory. Never did figure out why my brake fluid smelled like engine oil...
