Horn on Komoto 250cc doesn't work

The horn on my bike doesn't work. I checked the wiring from the handlebar hosing to behind the headlight. I also checked to make sure the wiring to the horn was okay. I will probably have to take off the gas tank to see if the wiring is good. I will have to use a volt meter to see where the disconnect is. Anyone have any problems with their horn?

Common problem with some of the Hi Birds. Try tweaking the adjustment screw located on the back of the horn. Usually just a slight shift in position will have desired results.

I loosened the adjustment screw and no beep. Do you think it's the wiring? I need to get it working otherwise, I can't take my motorcycle license test. I only have a permit now.

I checked my horn and had no voltage to the horn. Traced back to a bundled connector behind the headlight. Power on one side of the connector but not on the other. Bypassed the connector with a splice and then had voltage at the horn bur it still would not work. loosened the adjustment screw and it started working. Been fine ever since.
