I recently bought a 2021 tbr7 D

Mods:

Full aluminum exhaust
Pz30 with removable screws
Cone filter/ airbox delete
130 main jet @ 5000' elevation
32 idle jet
Adjustable CDI (not yet installed)

Day 1. Its not going so good. Losing parts and oil on the highway. I know this is a learning experience. Im heading to make a post about the oil issue in the appropriate area.

If you are losing parts on the highway ,you probably should stop riding it until you do a proper initial set up .There are dozens of set up guides on this site for the various bikes to follow ,there is no excuse for not completely going over your bike .Adjust the valves ,adjust the spokes ,grease all the bearings ,change the fork oil ,adjust the chain ,secure all fasteners properly ,properly set up the carb are all things that should be done before turning a wheel at a minimum .Big three bikes have this done at the dealership before it is sold .Mail order bikes have you as the service department so it’s completely up to you to do it right .

Welcome aboard! Bruces is correct. You need to go through every nut and bolt, grease and lube up all necessary parts. It's no different than the bike you get from a dealership. Only difference is you need to do all the prep work.

Between the parts falling off and the blowing oil in your other thread, it sounds like you got the Special "Harley-Davidson" Edition!

I agree with all of the above posts. Take the time to do a proper setup. Although it will take some time, it will pay off tenfold in the long run. Not only will it help you get to know the bike, but it will also dramatically increase your enjoyment of it (and help you shed this crummy feeling instead of parts).
