Hello from North Carolina

New RPS Hawk DLX 2020 here. Picked it up used with 133 miles on it from a guy for $1700. He had already done needed oil changes, 17t front sprocket, 45t rear sprocket, K&N air filter, LED headlight bulb, shifter, and a NGK plug. I completely debadged it, and ordered a 290mm rear shock to put on it. I'm 5' 11" and 185 and still couldn't flat foot it.

I also have some better mirrors and barkbusters with plastic guards on the way.

I went through and tightened every bolt I could access. I'm going to loctite most of them today.

I'm loving this bike so far, except the rear tire. I'm gonna have to get a DOT knobbie for the rear.

I laid it down on one of my 4 wheeler trails yesterday making a sharp right turn up a steep part in loose dirt. Haha.

Didn't hurt it at all. Just washed the dirt off, and was good to go.

You give me a reason to drink.

I told her to stay right in the mud hole. She went left. Now her nickname is "Swamp Thing."

Every hill is climbable, if you're brave enough.

Let's go to the jewelry store, she said. It'll be fun, she said.

Welcome aboard! Give it some time. That rears shock will weaken a little after some use and will sit a little lower.

Thanks. I believe you're right about the rear shock. Now that I've been riding it a while, I think I'm gonna put the stock one back on.
