Venom/Belmonte Sold Out Items
Just messaged Venom Motorsports and they are sold out on many items with no Eta on when things will restock. Said they would update at the end of month if anything changes.

Yeah, Everybody was spending those stimulus checks. BTW, Venom is opening shop up in LA for west coast sales.

This is the reply I got from Venom Motorsports a few days ago: ================================== Hi there, Here is an update on your Venom X22R 250cc order: The shipment of the new Venom X22R 250cc Motorcycles are being inspected at the port in California and awaiting to be cleared. This process has prolonged longer than normal, and this is due to the congestion at the port in California. Clearing of the shipment can happen at any moment and unfortunately we have no control over clearing times. Please rest assured your motorcycle will be shipped in priority as soon as they arrive to our warehouse. Some good news, we have finally started to receive some new stock, and we are allowing FREE upgrades ($0) to the following in-stock bikes: - Venom Ghost 250cc Chopper OR - Venom X22GT 250cc Automatic Motorcycle These units have cleared customs and are now in stock. We understand the weather has gotten better, and in case you no longer want to wait, we will provide a FREE upgrade ($0) to either one of those models and proceed to ship it within a week. If you would like to proceed with the free upgrade, please respond to this email or you may call us at 1-855-984-1612. ================================== And today I received another reply from them. Here's what they said now: ================================== Hi Joe, Sorry for the wait, we are still awaiting for the container to clear customs and unfortunately we have no control over the length of time this could take. Clearing of the container can happen tomorrow, or it can happen in 3-4 weeks; it really is up to the Customs Border Patrol (CBP) officers. I hope this makes sense and we are so sorry for the inconvenience. ================================== What's that old saying? "Hurry up and wait???"  Oh well... Justifying their importance...
Have noticed over the past month or so that most all importers.. dealerships have run their stocks out on popular models with the earliest restocking of bikes such as the Xpect as late June... Its a shame, though understandable with such a long supply chain.. Warehouses.. Guess the new meaning of the term should be the bottomless void with only hints that there in might be your new dream motorcycle.. Is better ?? Than tied up in customs. |

Venom MotorSports (AND others)...
Hi Everyone,
Just a follow up with the LAST MESSAGES I got from Venom MotorSports. Some time ago (not sure exactly when) I got a phone call from Venom (NOT SURE WHO called me). But anyway he told me that they were experiencing delays from several different places. The first delay was from the lack of drivers to pick up OR EVEN transport the orders. The second delay was the one they were experiencing at the Canada/US Border from the Customs people and therefore they were going to ship ALL THE ORDERS from Canada TO California as that way (they HOPED anyway) they could avoid the delay at the Canada/US Border (I'm guessing at the New York Border - but I could be wrong here). So much for THAT IDEA... They still got stuck at the OTHER Border... The next delay was the actual inspections that California was/is doing on the bikes themselves... The next (AND FINAL) delay was again on the lack of Truck Drivers to haul the bikes to their final destinations... So there you have it... Like I said before, expect a delay of between 2 weeks to at least 1 1/2 months (MAYBE even longer)... Sorry I don't have BETTER news for you guys but that's it... For now anyway...
