Depends what you want it for honestly. More off road, go Hawk for the bigger front tire. They are very similar bikes from what I understand.

Tao is more aimed at the street user. 19" front rim, less aggressive tires, and a rack. However, some of the tbr7s have been getting shipped with folding shift levers, HD 530 chains, and a nice engine guard which would sure be handy off road. Some are also being shipped with led headlights, tail lights, and turn signals, nice for street.

I got the tbr7 for like 60bux less than the hawk, but paid over a 100bux for a 21" front rim. And since I was lucky enough to get one that came with all the goodies, i got the best of both worlds... oh and its white, and the hawk didn't have that as an option.
