Factory battery initial charge?

Bike just arrived but I won’t be working on it tonight. As far as charging the stock battery after filling. Do you put the caps back in while charging or leave them out like old school?

Hi, I don't think it matters. I know I left mine in with no issues.

After I filled my battery, I let it sit for an hour before charging. I installed the caps before charging.

I filled mine, let it sit over night, then charged it on 2amp for 12 hours.

surprisingly, mine came with a full charge. i didn't have a tender, so i just filled it, let it sit, took it to advance and they said it read fully charged. it worked immediately. mine must have been a fluke

For safety reasons, leave the caps off during the initial charge.

Left the caps off for the first 6 hours at 2 amps. It’s not capped and on a tender/maintenance charge overnight

The batteries on the Brozz bikes are supposedly shipped pre-charged. You could add the acid let it sit to stabilize and use it to start the bike. My battery showed fully charged in less than 30 minutes on a 1 amp charger.
