Hawk 250 starter kit (For new owners)

Hawk 250 starter kit every new owner should have.
  • NGK DPR8EIX-9 Iridium IX Spark Plug
  • Hwbnde VM26 Carburetor
  • Wingsmoto Carburetor jet kit (Better jets are available if you want to do more research)
The hawk can handle up to a 120 jet but 110 or 115 is recommended.

With tax this kit will cost you around $55 but it's worth it.

Don't worry, a couple hundred other people tested them for you already, myself included.

The cheap jets work good. Just don't mix them up if you end up with more sets of jets. Some manufacturers might have a slight difference in jet sizes. That will drive you nuts trying to tune. I have several sets and have each bag marked for what carb I'm using them on.

I've tried to stick with genuine mikuni main jets on these clones.
I think some of the folks here get the "whattha" syndrome when the read the main jet guides posted here then buy jets with the keihin numbering system which is allot different and the bike runs worse.
