Best 27-28mm carb for under $75

New Viper 150,carb is crap idle set all the way in and it will barley idle and then cough and die.
I’ve heard the stock carb was crappy so I’m ready to buy a new carb.The Nibbi sound great but can’t afford one right now,what’s the next best one.

Is there a air/fuel mixture screw on a PZ27 ??

Yes. Under the spigot that connects to the head. It might have a plug in it, protecting it from adjustment, it might not.

So I was looking on eBay and Amazon and I found a MIKUNI PZ27 for $25 new,the pictures showed a close up of the carb and it said MIKUNI japan so I ordered it.
Got it the next day and it WASN’T a MIKUNI it’s a Chinese brand with a name too long to pronounce.
Contacted amazon and got a label to send it back,but since it was only $25 and we are going riding tomorrow I decided to try it.Yes the stock carb had plug in the air/fuel hole and it had a anti tamper screw in the idle adjustment.
This one had a screw in both,I installed it and it fired right up.I adjusted the idle and it runs really good !!!.��
