Head Scratching Please help. Peace—Bashan Brozz 250 sprockets

Could someone please help me out? I’ve been trying to find sprockets for my 2020 Bashan 250. I’ve searched every site I know of plus another 20 sites I’ve never heard of and no luck finding sprockets. Where can I find sprockets for the 2020 Bashan Brozz 250? Or if someone has the measurements of the sprockets that may work.

like Jerry said they are the same. I have the rear sprocket he linked on my storm and it fits fine. Make sure to check the bolts after the first ride to make sure they stayed tight.

Mr.Fixit.....Your "unavailable" search most likely is because of no aftermarket rear sprockets having the dish shape like the Brozz? The link Jerry gave you is indeed a flat sprocket,...but it will work fine...many on here have used that sprocket (in place of the dished one) with no problem.

As you can see in the pic the flat sprocket is 1/4" off from the OEM sprocket, the lack of an offset can cause a problem but it may not. I ended up putting a 5/8" flat washer between the lock and front sprocket which pushed the front sprocket in 1/8" thus giving only 1/8" difference which worked out pretty good.
The rear flat sprocket number is JTR269 in whatever tooth count that suits your needs.

Thank you guys very much. I got the Jtr269 sprocket and I see the difference. If I put two 5/8 washers Behind the lock would it bring it to where it needs to be.

One washer is all that will fit, the sprocket will be tight after you install the one washer. I had to sort through several washers to get the right thickness. You will see what I mean when you start the project.

Your right Herbie, I was only able to get one 1/8 thick washer to fit. I am going to finish putting it back together when I get home this evening. The one washer worked out ok for you, you haven’t had any problems With the chain coming off or anything due to the sprockets not being lined up correctly?

No chain problems at all, I rode it for 3000 miles that way and did my top speed run at 78mph with it. If you have your bike lifted up you should be able to spin the tire and not hear or see any binding, mine was nice and smooth.
Be sure and use blue loctite on the bolts, I used a tad bit longer bolts too, if you reuse the same bolts make sure they stick out a little bit on the backside.

Thanks a for all the help Herbie, and it was right on time. I had just finished putting the rear wheel back on and decided to take a cigarette break and check my phone before I put the front sprocket back on with the washers (that I had to make out of big 1/2 inch washers) that I found out about thanks to one of your detailed threads. After my cigarette I went and found some longer bolts as you suggested. Thanks again man.

This is a completely different problem I had but I want to get your input while your reading. I did the NIBBI carb upgrade along with the exhaust upgrade, well the exhaust was too loud. So I removed the catalytic converter from the header pipe. After that I cut the end of the can to replace that 19mm pipe with bigger 28mm pipe and see what inside the “muffler” looked like, and man it’s crazy the way it was designed. So I had to cut the other end of the can off to fix it and while doing that I noticed what looked to be another catalytic converter??? So my question is,- do these bikes have 2 cats, if not what is that in the pipe right before the can?

I didn't take my stock muffler apart so I don't know about the second cat but I totally agree about how loud the new muffler is. I put a baffle in mine which helped a little but I was planning on either replacing the muffler or wrapping the baffle to quiet it down some. I had another muffler that I bought and had installed with the de catted stock header pipe and I thought the db level was just about right, but I sold the bike before I made the switch and bought a quiet bike. I may end up buying another china bike in the future because I miss my Brozz.

They are definitely fun to play around with. I also have a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 that I love riding but I really love riding and working on these Chinese bikes.

I got another question for you though. On this Brozz, there is a hose coming off the bottom of the gas tank, it’s up in the U part of the tank where the frame runs through. Where does that hose go? It doesn’t look like it has ever been hooked up to anything, I think it’s a vent hose but I still don’t know where it goes. I took it apart but never even saw that hose when I disassembled it.

I know I'm getting old but from memory all I remember was the hose to the petcock and electrical connection to the gas gauge sender, when I removed the tank
They may have added that since they changed the gas cap for 2020, Jeffrey is probably correct on the drain

And the winner is, JEFFREY.
The hose is in fact what Jeffrey said, it is a drain for the area under the cap around the hole. I suppose it’s mainly for water since there’s a substantial indentation under the cap. It would definitely create water in fuel issues without it.
