LED Headlight Bulb

I recently added some LED driving lights and I like the brightness they have and would like to update my headlight bulb as well. If anyone has replaced theirs with a LED and would recommend it I would greatly like to hear about it. Thanks

The BeamTech H4 LED rawks! I have one and I gave the other to Justin and he loves it as well, and he had a SuperBright LED before and still prefers the BeamTech.

Also the BeamTech seems a little expensive at $40, but you get 2 bulbs. And it uses a heat sink which is outside of the headlight housing so you don't have to worry about a noisy cooling fan failing.

OneLeg, off main topic but how did you like the LED turns and tail? Mine are stupid bright at night, I love em'. My front turns are actually bright enough during the day that I can see them blinking out the top of the lens and thus reminded to turn them off, albeit 2 miles after the left turn!

You'd have to ask Jay, he's been the only one riding it. But yes, they are extremely bright and he mentioned the same about seeing them flash in the daylight and them reminding him to turn off the signal lol. Almost wish it had that loud and annoying beeper on it like the TBR7 comes with.

Hello,

I got an LED headlight bulb from Ebay that works great. Only $18. My priority was plug and play. I didn't want to have to mess with modifying anything.

This has fewer Lumens than those with the big heat-sinks (that require mods), but still 2x my stock halogen. This is the partial URL (actual is way too long), but if you put the description in an Ebay search it should show up.

As an aside, I also replaced the taillight 1157 bulb with an LED that strobes (then goes solid) when you brake. Here is the URL:

Peace on Ya!

Goob
