That's interesting. I've had mine install for a few months now. Even after sitting in the shed for weeks the two year old stock battery starts it right up. I may install a switch anyway.

I can't keep a battery in my Rhino to save my life.
I hooked up all my goodies (Harbor Freight winch, lights, etc...) and it kept dying. I finally disconnected everything. Now I need to give it a good deep charge (battery less than a year old) and see what happens.

I hope I didn't jinks myself. lol I still have the same stock battery on The UTV bought back in October of 2016. The battery was already activated and installed when I received the UTV. It's never died on me yet but I'm sure now that I said something it will be dead within a week.

It's the winch. Even though the power is on.. it's still on standby waiting for the remote to trigger it into "Full On" .....It has to have power in that control box to receive the signal.

It will just sip a little power... but over weeks it will drain the battery. I'm planning on tapping into the winch control box with a "Power Off/On" switch and manual "In" "Out" switch while I have it open.

Thanks Darth Racer. It's all thanks to you guys and this forum that helped me with all the ideas and I appreciate it. Still waiting on the extra funds for the bucket and I'll be getting a little dump trailer and lights set up on it too. Pics will be posted when I get the stuff. Still got to do the off on off momentary switch for the winch. But all in all she's coming together nicely.

I think that tiller attachment is pushing it.... hit enough rocks with it you may end up breaking some swing arm welds ... possibly tearing out the shock.

Think it is better suited for a UTV with a beefier hitch setup.

Added lights, winch switch, axe and rifle mounts, and fabricated a back rack out of a bigger rack for a car
