2017 Apollo RX250 re-jet for high altitudes

Good afternoon fellas, I have a re-jet for higher altitude question.

Currently I have a Mikuni 30mm carburetor with a 27.5 pilot, needle clip in the middle, and a 120 main jet. I am currenlty at sea level (68 ft), and will be running the bike occasionally at altitudes of 5000-7000 feet in Carson City NV.

Is there any guides to help with a re-jet, or any suggestions for sizes to run? I would prefer to be on the richer side. Current temps in Carson City are between 85-100 Deg.

Thanks for the help,

Douglass

This is exactly my question as well. I will be buying an Apollo 250 here in a few weeks and I live at a mile high. Was wondering how the Mikuni would do at this elevation though the VM22 was good out of the box on the 125cc. Verified by the plug color.

Sorry I can't help you, Douglass.
