Sorry if this is in here but I couldn’t find much in my search. Was wondering if the Hawk has a neutral safety switch mine seems to not have one, thanks guys

It will start if clutch pulled in or in neutral but when in gear it’ll lunge forward was wondering if that’s normal for these bikes.

Yes there is a neutral safety switch. Clutch diode is probably burnt. I have a post somewhere on here. Sounds like you're getting false neutral and it's still in gear.

Not sure if the TBR7 comes equipped with that - I get false Neutral all the time when the bike is running.

I had one false Neutral on start up and that baby lurched so bad, I NEVER start her now without clutch and front brake pulled tight.

Noobie mistake thou...

Yeah I mess with the wires going into the clutch lever and it seems to work then I’ll try it the next day and it lurches also so I’m not sure maybe something loose. I’ll look more at it later but running good so far.

Wont be loose wires then safety NO GO.
You might find and its common for neutral light to be on but actually in a gear enough to engage
