No issue with the sprocket, I installed a new 39T on the rear, 17T front sprocket.

Seems everything is doing good, valve adjustment is ticking along like they should, runs out pretty good, I haven`t had over 45mph but I'm sure it'll have pretty good top end, speedo reading 25-30mph seems like I'm going faster, I will get it on gps soon, I'll be doing my 100 mile odometer oil change in the next month or so. I'm ordering a new gy6 oil screen, when I did the new oil change oil screen was boogered up some, stretched and folded in places.

While you have the wheels off I would grease the bearings. There is little to no grease in there. You can pop the bearing cover off with the tip of a razer knife and it will snap right back in place.

I ordered a carb kit that has screws, adjustable needle and 110 jet, @ 100 miles (66 to go) I'll do oil change and carb work. Running the bike at half choke all the time, it is still running good. I tightened the mirror body screws but still so much shaking and vibration in mirror you can't see a thing. Mirror upgrade coming soon also.

I had a issues starting this morning, dead battery, bike started ok yesterday, took a little doing but it kick started. (hopefully the near future carb tune will help with quicker start and kickstart) I looked at the battery and the sides looked swollen. I've never run the battery down or anything like that, must have got a bad battery? I don`t think I'd trust the battery now swollen, even if it recharges. What I've heard about txpowersports customer service, maybe save the headache and spend the $27 on eBay to get a new one.

What does a multi-meter on the battery read when the bike is off, running at idle, and while reving?

The batteries shipped with these bikes are usually crap from the start... buuut

Maybe check, clean, and dielectric grease all of your wires including the grounds (clean any paint overspray away from the ground spots)... it almost sounds like the battery is over charging (or sending huge spikes of juice to the battery) causing heat and the swelling of the case

Battery

Thank you for the reply Azhule, that is why this forums is so great, it's easy to just jumped to conclusions and focus on one thing. I did not test anything with voltmeter but I will as soon as possible, I did email txpowersports to see if they would respond and try to help. No reply yet.

I think I have it sorted, drilled holes in the bracket for the license plate, just inside the original slots for the larger plate, if the factory would have extended the slot 2cm more inside it would have worked perfect.

I had to remove the license plate bracket on the TBR7 and re-bend it, using a vice and dead blow hammer.

A1R 250 bob, you have the small plate like the FL mc / trailer plate?

No voltmeter reading yet. this morning 55 degrees, the bike battery would not start the bike, later in the day when it's warmer like 75 degrees, turns over and starts quickly. I'm still leaning toward a dead cell. I ordered a new agm battery, YTZ7S eBay $26.60, be here Friday.

I did the carb rejet, 112 main jet, one I took out 88, I set the mix screw 1-1/2 turns out, on the bike it is really difficult to adjust, maybe one of the extended knob screws will be in the future. Now the bike will run with the choke off, feels like a different bike, sounds better and more responsive. Highly recommend doing this carb mod.
