They are, in fortunately there is not much for on them and I am not sure how to move forward to finding parts. All the sellers have gone belly up

Focus on the WMI: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicl...rer_identifier (easier to find cousins in other country ) / engine -Some stamped mark may be found
http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...ull=1#post5529 & upload photos to identifies it if unsure what's (cb/ CG / Nc250 / AX-1 ...) it exactly/ carb

consumable: spark plug http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=14251 http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=15773 , tyres, driven chain & sprockets etc are pity easy to find IF had exact measurements on hand

My 2006 Roketa/Shineray had such a random VIN code that I think they were literally stamping random numbers on it. It traced to a South Africa General Motors vehicle... sooo, not sure what to say about that. Was titled and licensed tho, in Oregon so I wasn’t complaining.

Here’s my original post info from a few years ago: “I did find that ZA is Italy. Coincidence ? So, a Beta Alp would have ZA etc. but my Beta clone has A1Z. If I literally translate the first 2 digits I have a South African Chevrolet. Hmmmm... I'm thinking they just made up a vin and never really paid attention to the US standard.”

A friend of mine knew the owner of Roketa back then. The owner went to prison for having numerous 'ghost' VINs stamped onto bikes. Apparently, he didn't want to pay full wholesale price to Shineray, so he had a whole slew of bikes assembled from parts (as is still done by several scooter makers, only they really are the 'manufacturer with legitimate VINs) and faked a bunch of VINs. The government (cannot remember if California or federal) caught on and he went to prison either way. That was back when Roketa branded their bikes as 'Roketa'. Nowadays they imply bikes are 'Roketa' but they are others'.
