Hawk 250 head

I know a few people on here have bought replacement heads and was wondering how to tell if they will fit the hawk. I am going to be buying one soon and was looking to do a portn polish and maybe deck for a winter project before I get my hawk. Just don't want to do all that work on a head that will not fit. Anyone that has bought one have links?

The CSC TT250 head will fit

I can supply a Zongshen head and the best quality if the USA prices are a bit out there
CG heads all interchange but many are cheap but Zongshen/TT250 are the best quality
Or a total motor upgrade to a better spec CB250 with 6 speed and or counter balance shaft possible too
Up to 15Kw 18Nm

CSC sells their head for $67 some - use that and that is a decent price.
Cheaper less quality options are easily available on Ebay etc

Bill,
Grab a TT250 head while they are on sale. The TT250 is a much better casting than the Hawk head. Less porting work if need at all.

I was too late. Back up to $84. I was waiting on csc to get back to me about the tt250 speedo cluster and the price jumped back up. Have to see if it goes back on sale maybe around Christmas. Their speedo cluster is $41.59 and is the same most people here swap their stock speedo for. I would have got the speedo and head for $102!

Csc just replied back and said the tt250 head and their speedo will not work on the hawk but a few people here said the head will work. Pretty sure the speedo will work they just don't know since they said the head will not work as well.

Guess I missed that memo, that the CSC head doesn't fit???
