Auxilary Driving Lights

Good day all. I'd like to add auxiliary driving lights to my TT250. What are you guys using or recommend? Lights would be used off road and low lit areas.

Led strip lights are not driving lights

I use both kinds of these lights and those are not going to help on the road at night trying to see the road and be seen by other vechiles, those are cool if you're fast and furious and at a car show.

Gh

Ps nice port n deck job on your head Tashka

I'm running some small LED lights I bought at Tractor Supply on my RX3....they were like $30 if I remember correctly...

I think this is what I have ...
https://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/pr...?cm_vc=-10005#

I wired them to the Extra switch by the throttle...

Huck369 thanks for the link. They have good options and prices are reasonable. Saw similarly priced lights on "wish" but not convinced at quality. With TSC I feel more confident; and there is a store less than an hour away.

I got them both for off-road use and for on road looks/visibility. It says they're bright and they are dimmable, so shoudplnt be an issue on the road. I'll let yall know if they're any good when they arrive.

Also they seem like a possible hazard light solution, s8nce I could make them flash yellow, which would be great for a breakdown on the road at night(which I have had!)

My led licence plate light lights up the whole ground beneath the back of the bike. it is quite bright. If they're like that, they should be good off-road at night.

Thanks for the link 2LZ. They look good on your bike. Also I'm jealous of the bike lift!

These are 2 for $13 On Amazon. This is a flood light that makes some impressive lighting but technically not street legal. I mounted one to my front fender so it bounces a little bit and makes a strobing effect for highway riding.

Thanks for the link. Can't believe the price! How long have you had yours and how much off roading have you done with them?

I have had them for about 6 months running continuously for about 3,000 miles and they are surprisingly good quality. The mounts are solid and the flood casts a near 180 degree beam left right high and low. I wired min into my low beam so they cut off with the high beam. I have done quite a few miles offroad and on dirt washboard roads (and downtown LA streets which might be worse!) with no issues. The front fender seems to be up to the job too and doesn't obstruct the light much at all.
