Mikuni vm26 help

Hi all,
I was removing the needle jet and I pushed alittle to hard and the insides went flying.
I think I found it all but wanted to check with you guys before I ajustband reassemble the carb.

Looks like its all there.
Make sure you seat the needle first then the retaining ring which looks like a bow. I made that mistake and had to disassemble mine again...

While we are talking about carbs... I have a mike I on my hawk... what’s the deal w the keihin pwk30 is it better can I get more power?? I’m in the process of porting a head and would change out carbs if I can get some more out of the bike when I change heads.. anyway thanks for the help!!

The PWK30 (OKO 30) is a true 30mm bore straight through and is a half moon flat slide carb. It will flow more air than the VM26, which has a choke equivalent of a 26mm bore. It also has a choke plate blocking incoming airflow and adding turbulence. In short, the PWK flows more air, more smoothly, and will allow for more CFM at the top of the rev range.

is this a good choice for my hawk the PWK30 ,i see some saying genuine mikuni $47.00 ebay for the vm 26 ,

Only if you plan on porting the head, removing the cat and installing a free flowing exhaust.

well i am going to get the better free flowing exhaust or may mod the stock one , cat too ,but not porting the head. just valve adjusted ,so should be fine with the v26 mikuni yes
