Thanks

Although it is difficult to figure out I'm guessing more torque in a wider spread at lower revs and perhaps a little more horsepower.

Longer gearing looks possible but with First gear being so tall, it might all be "flushed" money?

Yes, I am Eeyore, a constant source of optimism

In practice that is exactly right- but because of the extra torque first gear no longer seems tall at all. It easily pulls a front sprocket higher with more torque.

(I was running a 12/51 for steep climbing - now run a 13/51 for steep climbing and 15/51 for road only trips.)

That's what I was hoping to hear! Better start saving that "spare money" that's lying around

All I was looking for was a little more torque and I hope it provides it when I finally get it installed.

Well, the whole yoycart snafu seems to have worked out.

I ended up with 2 in my cart due to their website not liking my browser. I was able to get one into the hands of a fellow NC250 guy after I saw that they would let me pay the original price even after it sat in my cart for weeks.

The most recent order arrived today. No drama with the payment the second time around. Win-win. Hopefully we start to get some more reports on how it performs.

I did the same thing. It was weird how the site worked. I had to cancel one order when I saw two in the cart. It was something I did when it was time to pay. Somehow, I didn't totally complete the transaction. It didn't work like Amazon. It showed as cancelled almost immediately on their status list. It let me know at least someone was there.

Few questions if I may ask:
Was there any Tax to pay when it arrived in the USA?
How much was it on Taobao (I see from 1250 yuan to 1500 yuan)
I live in China and I am hoping to make a small business send good guys there parts etc - I have a fair bunch of contacts and options at my disposal, willing to price match if at all possible or try and better the price when I can.Regards
Tako

Hi, I'm from Argentina, the kit in taobao was 1000 yuan, taobaotrends fee is 10%. Shipping cost to Argentina is 50usd. Local taxes well... I better not tell you, is a nightmare, but it doesn't matter as I have to pay them either way.
I had already ordered this kit before we talked in the other thread, otherwise I would have ordered from you

Regards,

Juanro
