Gas Tank fuel gage question

Does anyone know where the connector from the fuel gage plugs into the gas tank? I have two wires (green and brown) with a connector hanging loose right below the back of the tank. My gage isn't working, so I'm pretty sure it needs plugged in. Hoping not to have to pull the tank off looking for the plug in....

The connector will be in the wire harness under the tank. you will have to remove the tank to get to it. Just remember to remove the 2 bolts from the tank plastic support before trying to remove the tank. That plastic will break very easily. Ask me how I know.
