Hawk mpg

I did a search and came up with nothing. What are people getting for mpg and how long can it go before hitting reserve. Also include miss that have been done, sprockets and rider weight.

I've read a few places that the average is 60-65mpg, I've yet to figure it out on mine though. I saw a post a while back and the guy stated he was getting around 75. I'm going to base mine on the 60-65 it seems more realistic.

That's about what mine averages . It all depends on what type of riding i'm doing at the time. Off road and high highway speeds are on the lower end mpg. Cruising 50-55 mph will be on the high end mpg. Also I run 3 different front sprockets (15,16 &17 and 40 rear) depending on what type of riding.
I only weigh about 175 lbs.

I never had to switch to reserve. Only had the low fuel light come on once. I didn't really pay attention to the miles. I think it was somewhere around 180 miles.

It depends on a lot of things. Gearing is a big one. My bike will get almost 75mpg if I can maintain 45 to 50mph. Around town with a heavy throttle hand, mid to low 50mpg. Normal everyday riding, 60 to 65 is what I have averaged for the last 1500 miles I have been recording it.

On my tach cluster I will usually hit the last bar on the fuel gauge after 120 to 140 miles, and when I fill it takes about 2ish gallons, so 180 miles is a good number to a tank.

Mods in signature. Weight 260lbs.

If I stay under 50Mph I can EASY get 70-75Mpg, like today I was pegged full throttle for 65-70 miles...........60-65Mpg.

I checked mine this weekend. Running from 55-70 mph I averaged 63.4 mpg.
