scooter keeps stalling HELP!!!

I just got this tao tao 50cc scooter yesterday and I assembled it all and everything. I put gas in it too. When I go to turn it on, it starts up, maybe idles for a few moments then dies out. Im new to scooters so i have no idea what to do. can anyone help me out?

Have you tried adjusting the idle? Here's a video how to.

Also check for lose vacuum lines.

Also verify that line from intake manifold vacuum port to fuel petcock is not pinched.

Do those valve checks as well! I bought the same scooter once for $100 and it wouldnt even run. Got it home, did the valves, fired right up and I rode it for a year before selling it for a profit.

Nothing to do with your idle issues but please change your oil before riding it
