This would be a little shorter https://www.amazon.com/GOOFIT-Intake...ntake+manifold but looks like it still won't give you enough room.
Edit: After looking at it some more. Your existing manifold comes out straight. The new manifold will put the carb level angle it to the right toward the spark plug enough to miss the frame.

I have one CG engine labeled 171FMM which would indicate 71mm bore, 250cc class, but I measured it as 63mm bore 62.xmm stroke which makes it a 200cc. The correct designation would be 163FML so you can't count on the engine numbers being correct. Maybe it's a 90cc

Thx for all the quick info guys. Great site! Ive been a member of many sites and love the quick responses/good info im getting. Appreciate it. I checked and didnt see cc marking on barrel/fins ect. Guess i have to assume its a 200cc? Ill take a look at those intakes when i have more time tonight. Supossed to be working lol. I know its not a 90cc (i know you were joking) as it suprisenly moves the blaster quite well with my 200lb ass on it. Done all the fast atc's,atv's,dirtbikes. Just looking for something cheap/depenable to beat around on

I would replace the exhaust header pipe. If the welds on the inside are anything like the outside it may be restrictive. here's a replacement header pipe that should work. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Exhaust-Head-...NY1HhD&vxp=mtr Carb tuning might be something else to look at once you replace the intake manifold.

Ya welds are pretty ugly. Wonder if bend in that pipe would work? I checked the plug and its running very rich. Cant remember off hand but think it was ngk dp8ear? Does that sound right. From what ive read i should be running d8ea? Theres no air filter on it so im surprised its running so rich. Ive also noticed the guy has a procicuit 2 stroke silencer on it. Thats causing a problem?

CG clone engines like the one you have are highly reliable and Zongshen is a good brand. You can read about the design here. http://world.honda.com/history/chall...125/index.html

I seen hp/tq #'s all over the place for the 200 and 250 . Can someone post the true hp/tq each motor makes. I know it's never gonna be a speed demon but what are some recommended proven hp mods? Thx

Welcome!
This is all very familiar... A few years ago, forum member TeamCheap installed a CG motor into an old Blaster and documented the whole deal. Unfortunately, Photobucket has changed their terms and none of the pics show up. There is still a ton of good info to read, though: http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=2321 I have a China quad that is essentially a Yamaha Blaster clone with a CG engine, and this is the intake that is used: http://www.ebay.com/itm/27mm-Intake-...%257Ciid%253A1 It drops the carb and moves it back significantly, but it works. I'm running a 30 slow jet and a 110 main at sea level, with the pilot mixture screw out one turn.
