Can you go over 60 mph on your brozz?

Today, I found myself traveling on a 55 mph speed limit road, for the first time.
"No problem", I thought. So I put the bike into 5th gear, and to my dismay, the it would barley reach the required 55. If there was an even slight incline, I was closer to 50. i ended up having to pull over and turn around. From what i've seen, this seems quite a bit low, as i at least thought the bike could 60-63. So i was wondering, how fast does your brozz go, and do you have any tips for increasing my speed, even just enough to be comfortable on a 55mph road?

My brozz has minimal mods. Increased main jet to 110, and aftermarket exhaust. But, I have topped 1000 miles. They run better the more you run them.

With that said, my bike will cruise at 55 all day long. There is a huge difference between 55 and 60 however. I can hit, and top 60, but it is really humming with the stock gearing.

Depending on the miles on yours, you should be able to see 55 without issue, and 60mph spurts are fairly easy too.

I tend to try to keep mine at 55Mph actual (speedo is reading 60 to 63ish)

Hawk 250

Had my 2017 Hawk 250 out this evening and I could only hit 53 mph. I need more speed. Is this it's upper limit with it stock and a 250 lb 6'3" rider?
I'm also at about 5000 ft elevation. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Mike

Give the bike time to break in. Almost every thread I have read about new bikes and gearing, everybody has reported the bikes pick up more as they break in.

My 2016 brozz 600 miles on it, I can hover around 68-70. Stock sprockets carb and exhaust. Only thing I did was delete the cat and straight piped it. I'm 5,11 150 pds

I think they mean actual, not indicated. Assuming you're stating this via the gauge cluster
